Featuring backward curved airfoil wheels, the TEK Plug Fans combine precision injection molding techniques with modern high-strength plastics to produce a wheel that is stronger than steel, yet half its weight, said the company. According to the manufacturer, the fans can be used for OEM applications where an easy-to-install plenum air circulator is required and are suitable for supply or return applications. They incorporate an integral mounting panel that allows for air circulation in the plenum while keeping the motor external to the airstream.
